Our school recently went on camp with our Year 7 students to Log Cabin Camp, Creswick. All the students and staff had a wonderful time. The staff at LCC are very friendly, supportive and inclusive of everyone. They encouraged all of the students to step out of their comfort zones and catered for all abilities.
This camp provided our students with activities and experiences they may never participate in again and gave them the self-confidence to succeed. Engaging activities, welcoming hospitality and delicious food. Overall, everyone left with a smile on their face.

Southern Cross Kids Camp
We've been holding our annual Southern Cross Kids Camp (SCKC) at Log Cabin Camp, Creswick for 10 years now. We take about 25 kids with special needs and a team of 40 or so volunteers on a 5 day camp at Log Cabin. We love going there! The team really care for us - both the kids and our team of volunteers.
They get what we do and are accepting of our kid's idiosyncrasies. They are helpful and always responsive to our requests. The facilities have improved out of sight in recent years. The food is always brilliant and available in seemingly endless quantities. We have fun!
Our aim is for the kids to have a safe week where they can build happy memories. Almost to a child, they do. The team at Log Cabin Camp make an invaluable contribution to our success.

Before we arrived at camp, we were especially impressed with your great communication and flexibility as we made alterations to our original plans and changed some activities—this made everything run smoothly and stress-free.
Over three days, our students enjoyed the fun, challenge, and excitement of camp life at your beautiful site in Dean. Although only about 25 minutes from school, the camp felt like a peaceful world away—an ideal place to explore nature and try new things.
The facilities were excellent and very well thought out, which made every activity easy to run and enjoyable for the students.A huge thank you also goes to all the staff at Adekate Camp for being so kind, accommodating, and professional. You made everything run smoothly and ensured our students had a safe and enriching experience.
We would particularly like to acknowledge our amazing activity coordinator—'Matty'— the class affectionately called him the “fun guy.” His calm, sensible, and caring approach helped all the students feel supported and confident to give new challenges a go.

We had a wonderful experience and thoroughly enjoyed our time at camp. The camp staff were so polite, friendly and caring towards our staff and students. A simple thing like calling the students by name and getting to know them, was really noticeable. The food was incredible and the facilities you have are spot on. I have been involved in a number of camps over the years, and your staff would be by far the best I have experienced. I also appreciate the admin staff, as you have all made this process so easy. Your quick reply to an email and ensuring that all our questions were answered promptly, is greatly valued. We look forward to our next experience with Log Cabin Camp.
